Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to Host 2025 ACI World Airport Experience Summit

The Airports Council International (ACI) World has announced that the 2025 ACI World Airport Experience Summit will be held at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in Guangzhou, China. This follows the handover ceremony at the end of the 2024 ACI World Customer Experience Summit and Exhibition. China’s growing influence in the global aviation landscape is evident through its rapidly expanding network of airports and airlines, solidifying its position as a crucial hub for international travel and trade. The country continues to lead innovation and growth in the sector, fueled by substantial investments in aviation infrastructure and a thriving domestic market.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, one of China’s busiest airports, handled over 73 million passengers in 2019, earning the title of the world’s busiest airport during the early stages of the pandemic. Maintaining this momentum, the airport remained China’s busiest in 2023, boasting a remarkable 142% increase in passenger traffic last year. The 2025 summit in Guangzhou promises to be a landmark event for the aviation industry, showcasing the future of airport experiences.
