Horrific Child Abuse Cases Shake Uttar Pradesh: 10-Year-Old Beaten to Death, Another Allegedly Sacrificed

Uttar Pradesh has been rocked by two horrific incidents of child abuse, both involving the tragic deaths of young victims. In the first case, a 10-year-old boy named Ahad was allegedly beaten to death by his own father, Naushad, in the village of Tyodi Biswa, Ghaziabad district. The brutal act, fueled by suspicion of theft, highlights the depths of cruelty that can manifest within a family.

According to police accounts, Naushad, a 45-year-old man, discovered that ₹500 was missing from his pocket. Ahad’s stepmother, Razia, accused the young boy of theft, setting off a violent rage in the father. Naushad dragged Ahad into a room and began mercilessly beating him with a wooden stick. The horrific assault continued until the boy lost consciousness.

After the attack, Naushad and Razia fled the scene, leaving Ahad’s body lying in a pool of blood. Neighbors alerted the police, who subsequently arrested the couple based on a complaint filed by Ahad’s grandmother. They are facing murder charges.

In another disturbing incident, an 11-year-old child was allegedly killed as part of a sacrificial ritual performed by the owners of DL Public School in Hathras district. The school’s owner, Jasodhan Singh, is believed to have strong faith in ‘tantrik rituals’. He allegedly instructed his son, Dinesh Baghel, the school’s director, to sacrifice a child for the prosperity of the school and their family.

The victim, a class two student, was reportedly strangled, as confirmed by the post-mortem report. The police arrested Singh, Baghel, the school principal, and two teachers for their alleged involvement in the heinous act.

These chilling incidents expose the dark underbelly of societal ills, underscoring the urgent need to address issues of child abuse and violence. The authorities must act swiftly and decisively to ensure justice for the victims and prevent such tragedies from occurring again. The safety and well-being of children should be a top priority for everyone, and these horrific events serve as a stark reminder of the responsibility we all have to protect the most vulnerable members of our society.
