Mumbai based ABD ke board ne Tuesday ko ek meeting mein Singapore ki company UTO Asia Pte Ltd (UTO Asia) ke 100% equity share capital ke acquisition ko approve kar diya. Ek ‘binding transaction document’ sign ho gaya hai aur acquisition immediate effect se shuru bhi ho gaya hai. Matlab, turant!
Mansion House aur Savoy Club Ab Hue ABD Ke
UTO Asia, jo ab ABD ki wholly owned subsidiary ban gayi hai, ‘Mansion House’ aur ‘Savoy Club’ brands ke worldwide rights ki owner hai. Lekin, yeh deal kuch territories mein nahi hogi, jaise Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, China, aur Myanmar. Thoda restriction toh banta hai!

ABD ne kaha, “UTO Asia ka acquisition aur Mansion House aur Savoy Club brands mein worldwide right, title interest ka ownership (excluded territories ko chhodkar) ABD ke strategic expansion objectives ke saath align karta hai. Isse ABD ko global scale par Mansion House aur Savoy Club brands par full control mil jaega, aur key markets mein regional interests ko specifically address karne mein madad milegi.”
