Bengaluru Airport par pakdi gayi actress Ranya Rao, smuggling kar rahi thi 12 crore ka sona
Bengaluru airport par ek bade smuggling case ka khulasa hua hai. Actress Ranya Rao, jo ki ek senior IPS officer ki beti hain, ko DRI ne 12 crore rupaye ke sone ke saath pakda hai. Reports ke mutaabik, Ranya Dubai se Emirates flight se aa rahi thi aur unke saath do log bhi the jinke paas briefcases mein chhupaya hua sona tha.
DRI ne Ranya ko airport par hi rok liya
Ranya aur unke saathi airport security check se nikal hi rahe the ki DRI team ne unhe rok liya. DRI ko pehle se hi is smuggling ki khabar thi. Jab unke saamaan ki checking ki gayi toh 14.2 kg sone ki bars mili, jinki keemat kareeb 12.56 crore rupaye hai.
Ranya ke ghar se aur bhi sone ke zevar aur cash mile
Iske baad DRI ne Ranya ke Lavelle Road wale ghar par bhi raid maari. Wahan se kareeb 2.06 crore ke sone ke zevar aur 2.67 crore rupaye cash bhi baramad hue. Isse pehle bhi Ranya kai baar Gulf countries ke chhote trips par ja chuki hain, jiske chalte woh DRI ke radar par aa gayi thi.
Ranya ko giraftaar kar liya gaya hai
Ranya Rao ko Customs Act, 1962 ke under arrest kar liya gaya hai aur ab woh judicial custody mein hain. Is case mein total 17.29 crore rupaye ki recovery hui hai. DRI ka kehna hai ki Bengaluru airport par recent times mein yeh sone ki sabse badi seizures mein se ek hai.
Ranya ek senior IPS officer ki stepdaughter hain
Reports ke mutaabik, Ranya Rao ek senior IPS officer ki stepdaughter hain. IPS officer ki pehli wife ki death ke baad unhone dusri shaadi ki thi. Ranya unki dusri wife ki beti hain. Yeh news social media par bhi tezi se viral ho rahi hai aur log is baare mein kaafi charcha kar rahe hain.
