Pricing and Availability in India:
Both versions of the AirPods 4 are now available for pre-order in India and over 58 other countries. The standard model, priced at ₹12,900, boasts a revamped design, ensuring a comfortable fit for users, and incorporates Type-C charging for added convenience. The higher-end version, equipped with Active Noise Cancellation, is priced at ₹17,900. Both models will be available for purchase from September 20th.
The AirPods Pro 2, now priced at ₹24,900, has also received a significant update. New hearing health features will be rolled out for AirPods Pro 2 users via a software update later this year, in conjunction with iOS 18 and iPadOS 18. This update will be available in over 100 countries, further enhancing the AirPods Pro 2’s appeal to users with hearing needs.
Apple AirPods 4: Specifications and Features:
The new AirPods 4 models are powered by Apple’s H2 chip, designed to elevate audio quality and support personalized spatial audio. The inclusion of a Type-C port for charging and wireless charging capabilities further enhances user convenience. Apple has also prioritized sustainability in the design and production of these AirPods. They are made using 100 per cent fibre-based materials, reducing packaging by over 30 per cent, aligning with Apple’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.

Battery life has also been improved, providing up to 30 hours of listening time. Apple AirPods Pro 2: New Features and Enhancements:
Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 have been updated with new hearing-related features, aimed at improving health and wellness for users. These include hearing protection, hearing tests, and a hearing aid feature, making the AirPods Pro 2 even more beneficial for individuals with hearing impairments. A personalized hearing profile, conversation awareness, and adaptive EQ are among the many features designed to offer a more immersive and personalized listening experience. These new health features will be accessible through a software update later this year, demonstrating Apple’s commitment to addressing user health and well-being.
The AirPods Pro 2 also offer effortless setup, a noise app, and a conversation boost for clearer dialogue during conversations, further enhancing the user experience.
AirPods Max Update: New Colours and Features:
In addition to the new AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2, Apple introduced an update to its high-end AirPods Max during the Glowtime event. These over-ear headphones will now be available in a variety of new colors, including Midnight, Blue, Purple, Orange, and Starlight, offering users more personalized style options. A USB-C port has also been added for charging, bringing the AirPods Max in line with the other updated AirPods models.
The AirPods Max offer active noise cancellation, spatial audio support with iOS 18, and a transparency mode for allowing outside sounds to filter through. Battery life has been extended to 20 hours, with fast charging providing up to 1.5 hours of playback from just a 5-minute charge. Bluetooth 5.0 is supported, and users can connect the headphones via a wired connection using a Lightning to 3.5mm audio cable. The AirPods Max are designed to seamlessly integrate with Apple’s ecosystem, offering an enhanced listening experience for users.
