Kyon Band Ho Rahi Hai GMB?

German solar module manufacturers ne is dumping ke khilaaf awaaz bhi uthai, lekin sarkar ki taraf se koi khaas madad nahi mili. Borosil Renewables ka GMB aur uski associated companies mein total exposure lagbhag 35.30 million euros (Rs 340 crore) ka hai. July 4, 2025 se, Borosil ab GMB ke monthly losses ko apne accounts mein nahi dikhayega. Lekin analysts ka kehna hai ki is decision se Borosil India mein apne operations par aur bhi zyada focus kar payega.
India Mein Kya Hai Future Plan?
India mein solar power ki demand bahut tezi se badh rahi hai. Sarkar bhi solar infrastructure ko support kar rahi hai. Isliye Borosil Renewables ab India mein apni manufacturing capacity badhane par dhyan dega. Company 600 tonnes per day solar glass banane ki capacity badhane wali hai, jisme Rs 950 crore ka investment hoga. December 4, 2024 se China aur Vietnam se aane wale solar glass par anti-dumping duty bhi lag gayi hai, jisse domestic manufacturers ko fayda hoga.
Anti-Dumping Duty Se Kya Fayda Hoga?
Anti-dumping duty lagne se domestic solar glass ki prices mein improvement hui hai. Q4 FY25 mein solar glass ki average price Rs 127.6 per millimetre per square metre thi, jo FY24 mein Rs 99.6 thi. Yani ki prices mein 28% ka izafa hua hai. Isse Borosil Renewables aur dusri Indian companies ko bahut fayda hoga.
