A horrifying incident in Chennai has shaken the city, leading to the arrest of a couple accused of torturing and murdering their 15-year-old maid. The young girl, hailing from Thanjavur district in Tamil Nadu, was found dead in the house where she worked as a domestic help. According to police, she was discovered under mysterious circumstances on November 2nd, bearing visible signs of torture, including burns caused by hot iron branding and cigarette butts.
The Chennai couple, identified as Mohammad Nishad and Nasiya, have been detained by the police. They were reportedly on the run after the horrific incident. The Aminjikarai police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter.
