Motilal Oswal ke team ne CreditAccess Grameen (CREDAG) ke senior leadership team, jismein Mr. Udaya Kumar Hebbar (MD) aur Mr. Ganesh Narayanan (CEO) shaamil the, se unke Bangalore office mein mulaqat ki. Yeh meeting microfinance industry, Karnataka ke challenges, aur CREDAG ke aage ke strategy ke baare mein thi.
Karnataka mein samasyao ka hal nikalte hue
CREDAG ne Karnataka ke microfinance sector mein aayi mushkilon ko sweekar kiya, lekin kaha ki police action ab kam ho gaya hai. Company ka kehna hai ki unke employee-centric approach se Karnataka mein recovery strong ho rahi hai. Unhe ummeed hai ki dusre quarter (2QFY26) se sab normal ho jayega aur financials bhi “clean” honge, siwaye Karnataka slippages ke jo shayad September ’26 tak rahenge.
Customer badhane ki strategy
December ’24 se customer acquisition rate badh gaya hai, aur CREDAG ka target hai ki har mahine 100,000 naye customers add kiye jayen (average) FY26 mein. Company ka focus field due diligence aur customer ko achhi tarah se jaanane par hai, aur woh mushkil waqt mein bhi apne lending approach ko consistent rakh rahe hain.
Credit cost par control
CREDAG ka focus growth se zyada credit cost ko control karne par hai. Management ke hisaab se, overleveraging problem kaafi had tak solve ho chuka hai, aur unhe ummeed hai ki MFIN guardrails 2.0 ke April ’25 se implement hone se unke loan growth ya asset quality par bahut kam asar padega.

Yeh meeting se pata chalta hai ki CREDAG mushkilon ke bawajood positive hai aur future ke liye taiyar hai. Unka focus customer acquisition aur risk management par hai, jo long-term growth ke liye achha hai. Dekhte hain aage kya hota hai!
