Diddy’s Children Denounce ‘Fabricated’ Memoir Amidst Rape Allegations

Amidst a storm of controversy surrounding Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the children of the music mogul have taken a stand against rumors circulating about a tell-all memoir. The book, allegedly based on the diary and notes of their late mother, Kim Porter, has been denounced as a complete fabrication by the family.

In a statement posted on Instagram, Combs’ children declared, “Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend, nor do they have her best interests at heart.” The statement also addressed “hurtful and false rumors” about the relationship between Porter and Combs, without directly mentioning his recent arrest.

This is the first public statement from Combs’ children since criminal charges were filed against their father. The allegations against Combs have been mounting since last year when Casandra Ventura accused him of subjecting her to over a decade of physical and psychological abuse, including rape. A series of lawsuits have followed, with 11 women coming forward to allege sexual assault and physical violence, some dating back to the 1990s.

Combs, who has pleaded not guilty to the charges, is currently in federal custody awaiting trial for racketeering and sex trafficking. He was indicted last week on three criminal counts alleging sexual abuse and coercion of women into drug-fueled sex parties through threats and violence.

The statement from Combs’ children came as Thalia Greaves filed a lawsuit against the artist for rape, becoming the latest accuser to come forward. Greaves alleges that Combs and his bodyguard drugged, bound, and violently raped her, and that he filmed the assault for the purpose of distributing it.
