India aur US ke beech Trade Badhega: Piyush Goyal ka Statement
Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal ne kaha hai ki India aur US ke beech ek trade agreement hone wala hai. Isse dono deshon ko apne trade relations ko mazboot karne ka mauka milega. Unhone Tuesday ko reporters se baat karte hue yeh baat kahi.

Goyal ne kaha ki America aur India close friends, allies aur strategic partners hain. US, India ka sabse bada bilateral trading partner hai aur wahan par lakhon Indians rehte hain. Unhone yeh bhi kaha ki India aur US ke beech bahut strong ties hain, chahe business ki baat ho ya geopolitics ki.
Fair Agreement ki Baat
Goyal ne kaha, “Hum ek nice, fair, equitable aur balanced agreement banane ke liye negotiate kar rahe hain, jisse business ko badhawa milega.” Goyal Swiss leaders aur business representatives se baat karne gaye hain, jisse trade aur investments ko boost kiya ja sake.
US Team India Mein
Goyal ka yeh statement aise time par aaya hai jab ek US team New Delhi mein Indian officials ke saath trade talks kar rahi hai. Yeh week-long discussions June 10 ko khatam honge.
Target: $500 Billion ka Trade
February mein US President Donald Trump aur PM Narendra Modi ne announce kiya tha ki woh ek mutually beneficial multi-sector Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) par negotiate karenge, jo 2025 tak ho jayega. Iska aim hai bilateral trade ko double karke 2030 tak $500 billion karna, jo abhi $191 billion hai.
Interim Trade Deal Jald Hi?
Umeed hai ki India aur America June ke end tak ek interim trade agreement par agree ho sakte hain. New Delhi chahti hai ki domestic goods par 26% reciprocal tariff se full exemption mile. US ne proposed tariffs ko July 9 tak suspend kar diya hai. Expectations hain ki ek interim trade deal usse pehle final ho sakti hai.
US bana India ka Top Trading Partner
US 2024-25 mein India ka sabse bada trading partner raha, jiske saath bilateral trade $131.84 billion ka tha. US, India ke total goods exports ka 18%, imports ka 6.22% aur total merchandise trade ka 10.73% hai. India-EFTA Trade Pact se partnership mein stability aayegi, aisa Piyush Goyal ne kaha.
