7 Saal se Meta ke Saath
Shivanath Thukral ne Meta India ko November 2022 mein director aur head of India public policy ke roop mein join kiya tha. Phir woh VP ban gaye. Ab, 7.5 saal se zyada time baad, woh Meta ko chhod rahe hain. Unka kehna hai ki unhone yeh decision mushkil se liya hai, lekin woh confident hain ki company sahi direction mein ja rahi hai.
LinkedIn Post mein Announcement
Thukral ne apne LinkedIn post mein likha, “After a very satisfying and enriching journey of more than 7.5 years, I have decided to step down from Meta as the VP of India Public Policy at the end of this month. It is not an easy decision to make but I feel very confident that our policy engagement with stakeholders is at a credible and constructive juncture and we can only build further on that.”
Aage kya Karenge?
Apne future plans ke bare mein Thukral ne kaha ki woh abhi running, health aur apni family par focus karenge. Lekin woh jald hi vapas aayenge. Unhone yeh bhi kaha ki woh kuch naya seekhna chahte hain aur India ko world level par represent karna chahte hain.
Meta ka Future Plan
Ek aur news hai ki Meta, Scale AI mein $10 billion se zyada ka investment kar sakta hai. Isse pata chalta hai ki Meta future mein AI par kitna focus kar raha hai. Yeh information NDTV Profit se mili hai.

Thukral ne Meta mein kai systems aur processes banane mein help ki. Unka kehna hai ki ab team apne aap kaam karne ke liye ready hai. Unhone kaha, “There is always more to do, and I know the team is well equipped to navigate the waters well. Having helped build some of the systems and processes, I do feel it is a good time to let the engine and the team work on their own.”
