The OceanTRx 7MIL, the latest addition to Orbit’s legacy of over 30 years of field-proven maritime satcom terminal systems, is designed to provide reliable, high-capacity, long-range communications to navy vessels operating in extreme conditions. This satellite communication system supports a variety of antenna system configurations. With a diameter of 2.2 meters, the OceanTRx 7MIL operates on X, Ku, Ka, and C frequencies, enabling simultaneous operation of various frequencies for global activities. This allows for versatile and adaptable communication capabilities for various mission requirements. The OceanTRx 7MIL can be connected to Orbit’s unique switching matrix (OSM), facilitating multiple internal connections and the switching of up to 8 antennas and 8 modems based on customer needs.
