Director Prasanth Varma, known for his recent fantasy superhero film ‘HanuMan,’ is now expanding his Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) with a sequel titled ‘Jai Hanuman.’ Following the massive success of ‘HanuMan,’ Varma has confirmed that ‘Jai Hanuman’ will be the second film in a series of six superhero films based on Indian mythology.
Varma revealed that he is simultaneously working on four films within the PVCU, bringing together a star-studded cast from Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi cinema. Multiple directors will also be involved in the upcoming projects. While rumors have circulated about potential cast members such as Yash, Chiranjeevi, and Mahesh Babu, no official announcements have been made.
Varma emphasized that he has been paying attention to feedback from ‘HanuMan’ and incorporating it into the sequel. He stated, ‘I have been reading every negative comment about the movie and taking them into account.’
In addition, Varma unveiled a new poster for ‘Jai Hanuman’ on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. The poster teased epic battles and fire-breathing dragons, hinting at a visually stunning cinematic experience. The film is expected to be released in IMAX 3D. Varma expressed his excitement about bringing ‘Jai Hanuman’ to life and providing a unique experience for viewers.
