SEBI ka OPG Securities par Action
Market regulator SEBI ne stockbroker OPG Securities aur unke directors ko Rs 5.35 crore pay karne ko kaha hai. Yeh mamla NSE co-location issue se juda hai, jisme unfair access mila tha. SEBI ne warn kiya hai ki agar 15 din ke andar payment nahi kiya gaya toh assets aur bank accounts attach ho sakte hain. Kya hai poora mamla, aage padhiye.
Kyon Hua Yeh Action?
Yeh notices isliye bheje gaye hain kyunki entities ne April 2025 mein SEBI dwara lagaye gaye fine ko pay nahi kiya. Monday ko bheje gaye recovery notices mein, SEBI ne OPG Securities aur uske directors—Sanjay Gupta, Sangeeta Gupta, aur Om Prakash Gupta—se kaha hai ki woh penalties aur interest ke saath dues clear karein. Agar payment nahi hota hai, toh market watchdog unki movable aur immovable properties ko seize karke bech dega. Unke bank accounts freeze bhi ho sakte hain aur unhe arrest bhi kiya ja sakta hai.
Kya Tha April ka Ruling?
April ke ruling mein, SEBI ne OPG Securities aur uske directors par unfair trade practices mein shamil hone ke liye Rs 5 crore ka joint fine lagaya tha. Iske alawa, SEBI ne OPG Securities aur Sanjay Gupta par regulator ke code of conduct ka palan nahi karne aur investigation mein badha dalne ke liye Rs 10 lakh ka fine bhi lagaya tha.
SEBI ne Kya Kaha?
SEBI ne kaha tha, “Noticee 1 (OPG Securities) ko Secondary POP Server tak baar-baar access karke unfair advantage mila, jisse unhone unlawful gain kiya. Is unlawful gain ki quantity kuch bhi ho, yeh saaf hai ki jis tarah se Noticee 1 secondary server se connect hua, woh ek unfair practice thi, jo recurrent nature ki thi. Yeh ek serious violation hai.”
Aur Kya Ilzaam Lage Hain?
Regulator ne yeh bhi kaha ki OPG Securities ne business operations mein integrity, due skill, care aur diligence ke standards ko maintain nahi kiya, aur statutory requirements ka palan karne mein bhi laparwahi ki. Kyunki Guptas violation ke period ke dauran OPG Securities ke directors the, isliye unhe company ke actions ke liye zimmedar mana gaya hai.
