Pema Khandu: The Powerhouse of Arunachal Pradesh

BJP Claims Victory for All Four Women Candidates in Arunachal Pradesh Elections

In the recent Arunachal Pradesh assembly elections, all four women candidates fielded by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have emerged victorious. Dasanglu Pul, the widow of former chief minister Kalikho Pul, retained her Hayuliang seat unopposed, marking her third consecutive win from the constituency. Tsering Lhamu, the widow of former lawmaker Jambey Tashi, secured victory in the Lumla seat, while Chakat Aboh and Nyabi Jini Dirchi triumphed in the Khonsa West and Basar constituencies, respectively.

BJP, SKM Retain Power in Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) have secured landslide victories in the recently concluded Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim Assembly elections, respectively. In Arunachal Pradesh, the BJP claimed 46 of the 60 seats, while the SKM bagged an unprecedented 31 out of 32 seats in Sikkim. Both parties managed to overcome anti-incumbency factors and maintain their grip on power for consecutive terms.

BJP Retains Power in Arunachal Pradesh, Wins 33 Seats

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured a majority in the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, winning 33 out of 60 seats. The party has returned to power for the third consecutive time in the northeastern state. Counting of votes is still underway for 50 seats, while the remaining 10 seats were won by the BJP uncontested. The BJP has won 23 seats and is leading in 12 others of the 50 seats for which elections were held on April 19.
