Blackbird Interactive, the developer of the upcoming strategy game Homeworld 3, has released updated system requirements revealing modest specs for 1080p gameplay and demanding hardware for 4K with maximum graphics. The recommended specs include a Core i5 9600K or Ryzen 5 3600X CPU and an Arc A580, GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, or Radeon RX 5700 graphics card for 1080p resolution with medium quality settings. For 4K gaming at the Epic preset, a Core i7 12700K or Ryzen 7 7700X CPU and an RTX 3080 or RX 6900 XT graphics card are recommended. Ray tracing support is available, but it requires a Core i9 14900K or Ryzen 9 7950X3D CPU and an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX GPU at 4K resolution with Ultra RT settings. AMD’s FSR 2 and Nvidia’s DLSS 3 upscaling technologies are also supported, but there is no explicit mention of frame generation in the system requirements.
