The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) have secured landslide victories in the recently concluded Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim Assembly elections, respectively. In Arunachal Pradesh, the BJP claimed 46 of the 60 seats, while the SKM bagged an unprecedented 31 out of 32 seats in Sikkim. Both parties managed to overcome anti-incumbency factors and maintain their grip on power for consecutive terms.
