Voltas shifts Dubai, Abu Dhabi branches to subsidiary
Voltas ne apne Dubai aur Abu Dhabi branches ko Universal MEP Contracting LLC (UMCL) mein transfer karne ka faisla kiya hai. Yeh company Universal MEP Projects Pte Ltd., Singapore ki wholly owned subsidiary hai, jo ki Voltas ki bhi ek step-down wholly owned subsidiary hai. Transfer mein chal rahe projects aur defects liability period wale projects bhi shaamil honge.
Slump sale basis par hoga transfer
Yeh transfer slump sale basis par hoga, jismein assets, liabilities, employees, aur project pre-qualifications sab shaamil hain. Voltas aur UMCL ke beech 30 June tak agreements sign kiye jayenge. Agar sab kuch sahi raha toh transaction 30 September tak complete ho jayega.
Transaction ki keemat
Is transaction ki keemat lagbhag 45 crore se 70 crore rupees ke beech hogi. Yeh final net asset value par depend karega.
Restructuring ka hissa
Voltas ne kaha hai ki yeh move unke international business ko UMPPL, Singapore ke under consolidate karne ke restructuring plan ka hissa hai. Is transaction ke baad, Dubai aur Abu Dhabi ke projects bhi UMPPL ke under aa jayenge.
Naye CFO ki niyukti
Voltas ne KV Sridhar ko apna naya CFO appoint kiya hai. Woh 1 April se yeh pad sambhalenge. Sridhar, Jitender Pal Verma ki jagah lenge, jo retire ho rahe hain.

Sridhar pehle Abbott India Ltd. mein group finance director the. Unhone Danone aur Britannia Industries Ltd. mein bhi kaam kiya hai. Sridhar chartered accountant aur cost & works accountant hain.
Market update
NSE par Voltas ke shares 2.97% gir kar 42.90 rupees per share par band hue. Nifty 50 mein 0.33% ki giravat dekhi gayi. Pichle 12 mahino mein Voltas ke shares 34.54% badhe hain.
