The Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) has been recognized for its outstanding achievements in sustainability at the Business Travel Awards Europe. The prestigious event, held in London on May 14th, saw EICC emerge victorious in the Achievement in Sustainability – Meetings & Events category.
The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) has partnered with Costa Rica as a Sustainability Partner. The 3-year project will focus on creating initiatives and tools for the meetings and events industry to promote sustainable tourism practices. ICCA will work with the Costa Rica Tourism Board (ICT) and the Costa Rica Convention Center on this project.
Fontainebleau Miami Beach is set to unveil its Coastal Convention Center in the fourth quarter of 2024. The 45,000 square foot facility will feature a divisible ballroom, junior ballroom, 15 meeting rooms, and a pre-function area. The center will also boast a rooftop terrace with panoramic ocean views. It is designed by Nichols Architects and Jeffrey Beers International and will meet LEED certification criteria.
