Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Bardar has announced that police have intensified checks at the Ayyagaripalli inter-state border check-post to prevent illegal entry of liquor, money, or freebies from Karnataka. Those involved in such activities will face severe consequences.
All nomination centres in the district are under strict security vigil. The public is urged to adhere to the rules and regulations of the Election Commission of India (ECI). Counselling sessions were conducted for rowdy sheeters, cautioning them against any unlawful activities or riots during the elections.
Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) Additional SP G. Ramakrishna visited Cheemalavagupalli, a critical polling station, to inspect arrangements and ensure a peaceful and fair election.
