The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced the results of the Physical Screening Test (PST) for the Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024. The results were released on August 22nd, 2024, marking the completion of the PST and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) stages for the recruitment of 6000 Constables, including 5000 Male Constables (General Duty) and 1000 Female Constables (General Duty).
The recruitment process for these positions commenced with the official notification released on June 28th, 2024, followed by the online application period from June 29th to July 11th, 2024. The PMT was conducted from July 23rd to 27th, 2024, while the PST was held from August 1st to 21st, 2024.
Candidates who have successfully cleared the PST will now progress to the next stage, the Knowledge Test. This test carries significant weight, accounting for 94.5% of the overall selection process. The Knowledge Test will comprise 100 objective-type, multiple-choice questions, without any negative marking for incorrect answers. The test will be conducted offline using an OMR-based system and will be bilingual, with questions available in both Hindi and English.
To be considered for selection, candidates from the general category must achieve a minimum of 50% marks, while those applying under reserved categories require a minimum of 40% marks. The HSSC has shortlisted candidates based on their performance in the PST. Only those who have successfully cleared this stage will proceed to the Knowledge Test, which plays a crucial role in the final selection process.
