CGBSE Announces Second Board Exams for Class 10 & 12 in 2024

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has opened the application window for its second board exams for Class 10 and 12 students in 2024. This decision comes after the state government’s February agreement to hold two board exams for these grades within the same academic year – in March and July. Students who appeared for the March exams can now register for the July exams, with a June 30 deadline for regular applications and a July 2 deadline with a late fee. The Board has also emphasized its right to adjust the exam schedule as needed without prior notification, and that exams will proceed even on public holidays.

Expert Panel Formed to Improve NEET Exam Transparency

The Ministry of Education has constituted a high-level committee of seven experts to review the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam process and recommend improvements to ensure transparency and fairness.
