101-Year-Old Frequent Flyer Receives First Class Upgrade on Emirates

Over the weekend, Emirates had the pleasure of welcoming Rachida Smati, a 101-year-old seasoned traveler, on her flight to Algiers. In a heartwarming gesture of appreciation for her frequent journeys, the airline upgraded Rachida to First Class, ensuring her comfort throughout the trip. A dedicated team was assigned to assist her swiftly through airport procedures, guiding her to the First-Class lounge for a serene pre-flight experience.

Rachida, who hails from Algeria, chose Emirates for her flight back to Algiers after a visit with friends and family in Dubai. This trip marked her third visit to Dubai, a city she admires for its easy accessibility, exceptional medical facilities, and lively cultural scene. Rachida intends to continue traveling with Emirates, citing it as her airline of choice.

Rachida expressed her appreciation for the teams helping facilitate a smooth travel experience across every touchpoint: “I had a great experience on my Emirates flight to Dubai, the cabin crew were very kind and helpful.
