15-Year-Old Boy Stabbed in Northwest Calgary

On Monday afternoon, a 15-year-old boy became the victim of a stabbing in northwest Calgary. According to police, the incident occurred approximately at 4:30 p.m. in a green space located near John G. Diefenbaker High School and St. Helena School.

A spokesperson for Calgary EMS revealed that paramedics responded to the scene and transported the injured youth to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, where his condition was assessed as serious but non-life-threatening.

Investigators have not yet released information regarding the identification of any suspects, but they have confirmed the recovery of a weapon close to the scene of the stabbing.
