A 2-year-old child was found in critical condition on Monday evening after being found in a canal in Denair, Stanislaus County. The child was reported missing at approximately 6 p.m., and officials said they were found in the water in a canal bank near the 4300 block of Swanson Road.
Rescue crews performed CPR on the child as they were pulled from the water, and the child was taken to a hospital for further treatment. No further information is currently available.
