BMW has revealed initial details of its refreshed 2025 BMW i4 sedan ahead of its official launch this summer. The updated model boasts several enhancements, including a redesigned front fascia with slimmer headlights and a modified vertical kidney grille with a matte chrome finish. The M Sport package now incorporates a rear bumper diffuser finished in high-gloss black, complementing the updated air intakes on the front fascia.
New exterior colors have been added to the palette, including Cape York Green metallic and Vegas Red metallic. Inside the 2025 i4, the focus is on digitalization and a sportier profile. The number of physical buttons in the cockpit has been reduced with the introduction of a QuickSelect feature in iDrive. Climate control, seat heating, and steering wheel heating can now be activated via touch on the center display.
Sport seats in perforated Sensatec are now standard in both the i4 and 4 Series Gran Coupe, while Vernasca leather trim with decorative quilting is available in five colors, including a new bi-color Black with Red Highlight. A two-spoke steering wheel with polygonal rim and illuminated multifunction buttons comes standard, and the M Sport Package adds an M leather steering wheel in a three-spoke design with a flat-bottomed rim and a red stripe marking the 12 o’clock position.
The 2025 i4 will be powered by BMW Operating System 8.5, providing updated cloud-based BMW Maps navigation and improved access to the My BMW App. While BMW has not yet revealed any performance upgrades or pricing details for the 2025 i4 variants, the official launch is scheduled for July 2024. Expect more information to emerge closer to the launch date.
