3 Must-Watch Movies on Hulu This Weekend

Signature Films, with the help of *Inside Out 2*, has finally breathed some life into the box office. But unless you’re dying to see *The Bikeriders* this weekend, you’re better off staying home and turning on Hulu. Not every streaming service is generous enough to offer fresh movies almost every week, and two of our picks for the three movies on Hulu you need to watch this weekend premiered just days ago.

Marmalade (2024)

Very few saw *Marmalade* when it hit theaters earlier this year, which isn’t surprising considering that the only notable stars were Joe Keery from *Stranger Things* and Aldis Hodge from *Black Adam*. Keery plays Baron, a young man who becomes Otis’ (Hodge) new cellmate. Baron’s biggest desire is to escape prison and reunite with his beloved Marmalade (Camila Morrone). After recounting his outlaw past, motivated by supporting Marmalade and his dying mother, Baron asks for Otis’ help in breaking out. Otis has his own plans and an agenda that doesn’t necessarily benefit Baron. But Marmalade is the true wild card in this story, and not even love can slow her down. Watch *Marmalade* on Hulu.

In the Fade (2017)

Diane Kruger stars in *In the Fade* as Katja Şekerci, an older woman who has found happiness with her husband, Nuri Şekerci (Numan Acar), and their son, Rocco (Rafael Santana). Tragedy strikes when a terrorist bombing in Germany destroys their family, leaving Katja as the sole survivor. In her grief, Katja teeters on the edge of suicide. The only thing keeping her going is the thought of finding the Neo-Nazis who killed her husband and child. If the courts won’t deliver justice, Katja vows to take revenge herself, no matter the consequences. Watch *In the Fade* on Hulu.

Bad Boys For Life (2020)

Let’s end the week on a lighter note with the action comedy *Bad Boys For Life*. It took 17 years for Will Smith and Martin Lawrence to return for the third installment in the franchise. Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) are closer to retirement than they are to the beginning of their police careers, and these long-time partners disagree on whether it’s time to hang up their badges. Isabel “La Bruja” Aretas (Kate del Castillo), the widow of a drug lord, takes that choice out of their hands when she sends her son, Armando Aretas (Jacob Scipio), to pave the way for her criminal empire. Armando leaves a trail of bodies in his wake, and Mike becomes his top target because of their past relationship decades earlier. Even Mike and Marcus can’t defeat Isabel’s army alone. Fortunately, they have some new friends in the police department who won’t let jurisdictional boundaries hinder their efforts. Watch *Bad Boys For Life* on Hulu.
