In a since-deleted Instagram post, 50 Cent reshared a screenshot of an NBC News article reporting on the allegations and wrote, ‘This Camera man and the lawyer who made this claim should be punched in the head.’ He added, ‘I’m sorry 2 women start making out, I’m not offended.’
Some of 50 Cent’s followers found his post offensive and accused him of dismissing the seriousness of the allegations. One commenter wrote, ‘So it’s ok to be done to a man. That ain’t right.’
In response to the backlash, 50 Cent doubled down on his stance, writing on Twitter, ‘THIS CASE IS THROWN OUT OF MY COURT.’
Garcia’s lawyer, Alex Shipro, has denied the allegations, calling them ‘salacious’ and ‘an attempt to embarrass’ his client. He added that Garcia is filing an employment claim for money, not a sexual harassment claim.
Megan Thee Stallion has not publicly commented on the allegations.
