A 91-year-old man has sadly passed away in hospital following a collision between his Mazda hatchback and a Kia earlier this month. The crash occurred on Wednesday, April 10, at the intersection of the Dukes Hwy and Fulwood Rd.
The 91-year-old driver of the Mazda and his 98-year-old passenger were taken to a local hospital for treatment. However, the 91-year-old man succumbed to his injuries and passed away on Monday, April 22.
The driver of the second car, a 17-year-old girl from Victoria, and her 53-year-old female passenger escaped the accident without any injuries.
South Australia Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. More details will be released as they become available.
