British conductor Sir Andrew Davis has passed away at the age of 80 after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Davis had a remarkable career spanning over five decades, during which he served as the artistic leader of several renowned musical institutions, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, the Glyndebourne Festival Opera, and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
