Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena Postpones Opening, Black Keys Gig to Proceed
Due to construction delays, Co-op Live Arena has announced the postponement of its grand opening and Peter Kay’s scheduled performances on April 23 and 24. These gigs will now take place on April 29 and 30.
However, the highly anticipated concert by The Black Keys on April 27 will proceed as planned. This performance will mark the arena’s first official public event and will take place in the venue’s lower bowl, accommodating a capacity of 10,000.
The postponement of Peter Kay’s shows is attributed to the need for additional time to complete thorough testing and ensure compliance with the rigorous safety protocols required for a venue of this scale.
Despite the setbacks, Co-op Live remains committed to delivering an exceptional grand opening experience with Peter Kay and The Black Keys. All tickets for the rescheduled shows remain valid, and refunds will be made available for those unable to attend.
