The upcoming bird park in Kambarasampettai, Tiruchi, is nearing completion, with around 50% of the civil work already done. The project, which is being developed under the Namakku Naame scheme at a cost of ₹13.70 crore, will feature an aviary showcasing exotic birds in a protected environment.
Inspired by classical Tamil literature, the aviary’s nature trail will recreate geographical themes like Kurinji, Mullai, Marutham, Neithal, and Paalai. The facility will also include a 7D theater for children, a shop showcasing women’s self-help group products, sheltered seating areas, and parking facilities.
The bird park, situated off the Tiruchi-Karur National Highway, is expected to provide educational and recreational opportunities for visitors upon its completion.
