Tom Holland on Spider-Man 4: ‘I’ll Always Want to Do More’

Tom Holland recently shared his thoughts on the future of the Spider-Man franchise at Scotland’s Sands International Film Festival. When asked about the possibility of a fourth movie, Holland enthusiastically responded, ‘The simple answer is that I’ll always want to do Spider-Man films.’

The upcoming movie will navigate the consequences of Peter Parker’s actions in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ which resulted in everyone forgetting his identity. Holland acknowledged the challenges ahead, stating, ‘We have the best in the business working toward whatever the story might be. But until we’ve cracked it, we have a legacy to protect.’

Holland emphasized the creative process behind the fourth movie, saying, ‘This is the first time in this process that I’ve been part of the creative so early. It’s just a process where I’m watching and learning.’ He also expressed his desire to prevent overdoing the same things, saying, ‘Everyone wants it to happen. But we want to make sure we’re not overdoing the same things.’

The MCU has undergone several changes since ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ and Peter Parker’s storyline has been reset. The movie is expected to begin filming this fall, but no director or writer has been confirmed. Rumors suggest that Peter will team up with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and that Zendaya’s character may return, which could add intriguing dynamics to the story. Fans can anticipate more concrete information about ‘Spider-Man 4’ as the fall approaches.
