Popular TikTok creator Eva Evans, known for directing and starring in the series “Club Rat,” has passed away at the age of 29, as announced by her sister on Instagram.
Her sister, Lila Joy Baumgardner, expressed her grief and disbelief, describing Eva as “sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious” and a “beautiful sister.”
The cause of death has not been disclosed. Evans had gained a significant following on TikTok, with over 300,000 followers, where she shared content and tips about living in New York City.
She also created the 2023 series “Club Rat,” which explores the story of an influencer navigating the dating scene after a humiliating breakup video goes viral, according to an Amazon Prime synopsis.
Baumgardner announced that a celebration of life service would be held at Grace Church in Manhattan on Tuesday.
Tributes poured in on social media, including from actor Julia Fox, who described Evans as a “New York icon” and a “little sister.” “The Hills” alum Lo Bosworth commented on Evans’ last post, expressing her condolences and recalling Evans’ kindness.
Evans is survived by her mother and three sisters, according to E! News.
