Zero Tenacity owner Dimitrije ‘Hebihime’ Malesevic decided to play in his team’s final match of the EMEA Masters Spring tournament despite the team’s 0-5 record. After the match, Hebihime explained his decision, stating that he wanted to try shot-calling and change the team atmosphere.
The team’s COO, Adrian ‘hatchy’ Widera, said they initially advised against Hebihime playing, but that it wasn’t a major issue within the team.
This isn’t the first time an org owner has played for their team in a tournament. However, such scenarios are usually one-off and occur when no other options are available.
