Personnel at the MacDill Air Force Base had an unexpected scaly visitor. An alligator was found nestled against a U.S. Air Force airplane while on the runway, at the base, which is in the Tampa area.
The Air Force Base announced later Monday on social media that the alligator was captured by personnel from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The animal was relocated to the nearby Hillsborough River.
