Sir Keir Starmer’s latest performance as a proud patriot is a carefully choreographed act, designed to appeal to his audience. However, this sudden shift should not fool the British public.
Starmer’s history of supporting the abolition of the monarchy and his close association with Jeremy Corbyn belie his current rhetoric. He stood by as Corbyn refused to sing the national anthem, befriended foreign terror organizations, and turned his back on the armed forces.
Moreover, Starmer and his Labour cronies have consistently voted against measures to control borders, tougher sentencing, and more police powers. Their eco-zealot spending promises would have handed control of our energy security to foreign dictators like Putin.
Despite his attempts to present himself as a defender of British values, Starmer’s record shows otherwise. His actions have demonstrated that he is not on the side of the British people. Therefore, his lectures on patriotism should be taken with a grain of salt.
