Despite a slow start offensively, both teams fought hard throughout the game. C-NS’s Carter King proved to be the hero in the seventh inning, driving in the winning run. His teammates Mason Mingle, Andrew Davis, and Battista Wood also contributed to the victory.
West Genesee put up a strong fight, but C-NS’s late-inning surge proved too much to overcome. The Northstars’ defense held strong, allowing only a few hits throughout the game.
