Jesse Watters, host of Fox News Primetime, has called out the media for claiming that President Biden is not involved in the New York vs. Trump case. Watters pointed out that Biden’s former acting associate attorney general delivered the opening remarks for the prosecution.
The remarks were the first time in history that opening arguments were presented in a criminal case against a former president. Watters noted that the former Biden administration official, Matt Colangelo, revived the case and orchestrated the 34 felony counts against Trump.
Watters criticized Alvin Bragg, the district attorney, for not personally prosecuting the case and relying on Biden’s prosecutors to do so. He described the situation as a “torture chamber” for Trump, where the star witness is able to criticize him freely while Trump is silenced.
