Sanjay Mashruwala, who has been a key executive with Reliance since the time of founder Dhirubhai Ambani, has resigned from his position as Managing Director of Reliance Jio. The 76-year-old’s resignation will take effect from June 9, 2024.
Mashruwala has been involved with several of Reliance’s projects and business initiatives. He has played a significant role in the company’s growth and success. The Board of Directors expressed its appreciation for Mashruwala’s contributions to the company’s transformative journey.
Meanwhile, Pankaj Mohan Pawar, the other Managing Director of Reliance Jio, will continue in his role. The company did not provide any reason for Mashruwala’s resignation.
