The full trailer for Marvel’s ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has finally arrived, showcasing Hugh Jackman’s return to the role of Wolverine. The action-packed trailer introduces Logan/Wolverine as he sits in a bar before being propositioned by Deadpool to join him on a world-saving mission. The pair trade blows before uniting to save Deadpool’s world, showcasing their signature banter and camaraderie.
Throughout the trailer, soundtracked by Madonna’s ‘Like A Prayer,’ we get glimpses of other mutants such as Lady Deathstrike, Azazel, and even Ant-Man. The trailer hints at a multiverse storyline, with a closing shot showing the pair jumping through a portal commonly used by Doctor Strange and his fellow sorcerers.
‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is set for release on July 26th and marks the third Deadpool movie. It also marks Hugh Jackman’s ninth outing as Wolverine after previously stating he would retire from the role following 2017’s ‘Logan.’ Reynolds and Jackman’s on-screen reunion will be their first since 2009’s ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine.’
