In a somber development, a body discovered on a beach has been formally identified as Edward Procter, the 73-year-old man reported missing from Morecambe on April 13th. The discovery was made at Bolton-le-Sands on Sunday evening, April 21st, after Lancashire Constabulary had issued several appeals seeking information on his whereabouts.
The police have confirmed that Edward’s death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
