In the latest episode of the popular C-drama ‘Best Choice Ever,’ Xu Kai’s character, Zhi Ming, faces a life-changing encounter with his estranged father.
Episode 30 begins with a heartwarming scene as Cheng Zao (Gala Zhang) visits his mother, Mrs. Liu. She apologizes for past mistakes and promises to be a better mother. Cheng Zao accepts her apology, and the mother and son reconcile.
However, the peace is short-lived when a strange man barges into the Mai residence and claims to be Zhi Ming’s father. He is rude and disrespectful, causing tension within the family. Cheng Huan calls Zhi Ming, who arrives and throws the man out of the house.
Despite being thrown out, Mr. Yao continues to pester Cheng Huan at work. He claims that she does not deserve to inherit the hotel because she is not a blood relative of her grandmother. Zhi Ming hears about his father’s actions and rushes to Xiang’anli to confront him.
As Zhi Ming and Mr. Yao are about to leave, Mr. Yao locks himself in a room. Cheng Huan calms him down after they get back home. The episode ends with Mr. Yao apologizing for his mistakes, but Zhi Ming is not ready to forgive him.
