During a candid interview with News18 Showsha, Ahlawat divulged that he encountered suggestions to purchase fictitious social media followers during the promotional phase of the film ‘Raazi.’ Expressing astonishment, he questioned the potential benefits of such actions and received vague responses from his advisors.
Ahlawat staunchly declined to indulge in these tactics, emphasizing his belief in organic growth on social media platforms. He additionally expressed his disdain for Bollywood parties, stating that his absence from these events prevents him from becoming a target of gossip.
Ahlawat also highlighted the common practice among celebrities of intentionally leaking information to paparazzi regarding their gym and airport appearances. While he acknowledged that some individuals may find this strategy effective, he admitted to initially succumbing to the temptation out of frustration.
However, Ahlawat noted that he procrastinated on calling paparazzi and ultimately abandoned the idea, hoping that his team would cease pressuring him. He shared his amusement at the elaborate measures celebrities must consider when arranging paparazzi encounters, such as selecting appropriate attire.
