Amazon Launches Grocery Delivery Subscription for Prime Members and EBT Card Holders
Amazon has announced the launch of a new grocery delivery subscription service for Prime members and customers with EBT cards in the U.S. The subscription costs $9.99 per month for Prime members and $4.99 per month for EBT card holders, and it includes free delivery for grocery orders over $35 from Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market, and other local grocery and specialty retailers on the Amazon site.
The subscription service is available in 3,500 cities and towns across the U.S., and it includes a wide variety of grocery items, including fresh produce, meat and seafood, dairy products, and household staples. Users can order groceries online or through the Amazon app, and they can choose to have their groceries delivered to their doorstep or to a pickup location.
Amazon began testing its grocery delivery service in three locations last year, including Denver, Colorado; Sacramento, California; and Columbus, Ohio. The company says that the service has been well-received by customers, and it is now expanding the service to additional cities and towns across the country.
The launch of the grocery delivery subscription service is part of Amazon’s ongoing efforts to expand its grocery business. The company has been investing heavily in grocery delivery and pickup services in recent years, and it has also been expanding its selection of grocery items available online. Amazon’s grocery delivery subscription service is a convenient and affordable way for Prime members and EBT card holders to get their groceries delivered to their doorstep or to a pickup location.
