Curtis Warren, a 60-year-old notorious criminal, has denied 18 charges of breaching a serious crime prevention order that was put in place to prevent him from committing serious crimes. Warren appeared before Liverpool Crown Court and entered not guilty pleas to all 18 counts of failing to comply with the order. The charges allege that Warren failed to notify the National Crime Agency (NCA) of various activities, including passport applications, bank account details, credit and debit card information, communication devices, acquiring a business interest, and all sources of income. He is also accused of failing to inform the NCA about the use of multiple vehicles, including a rental vehicle in Spain, travel outside England and Wales in July 2022, premises details, and possession of over £1,000 in cash. Warren was arrested by the NCA in July 2022 and initially charged with 11 counts of failing to comply with the serious crime prevention order, which are said to have occurred after his release from prison in 2022. Earlier this year, he was charged with an additional seven offenses. During the court hearing, Warren remained on bail ahead of a further hearing scheduled for August 27. A trial date has been set for November 18.
