It’s a well-known fact that I adore food and welcome any opportunity to find a remarkable restaurant that takes pride in the culinary creations it serves. Bone-in veal parmigiana stands as one of the most exceptional delicacies you can encounter, and its execution is a true hallmark of a great restaurant.
We’ve embarked on a culinary quest throughout the Garden State, seeking out the best bone-in veal parmigiana. Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at a superb BYOB in Clark, New Jersey, accompanied by our friends Sal and Gerri.
Mayor Sal, a longstanding friend and currently seeking reelection for his seventh term, has served as Clark’s longest-tenured mayor. Recognized as a member of the NJ Elected Officials ‘Hall of Fame,’ Mayor Sal has been an integral part of Clark’s public service since the 1990s. Despite facing some controversy and scrutiny from the state AG and governor, the warm reception he receives on the streets suggests that Sal will retain his position in 2024.
Joining us was Sal’s friend Mike, known locally as ‘Mikey shirts.’ We commenced our dining experience with a selection of shared appetizers, with the highlight being the exceptional short rib bruschetta. It was an absolute delight.
Despite feeling nearly full, we couldn’t resist the allure of the bone-in veal. Lightly breaded and topped with a delectable layer of melted cheese that achieved perfect crispiness, it undoubtedly earned a spot on our list of New Jersey’s finest bone-in veal parmigiana.
From the tantalizing appetizers to the main course and the delectable desserts, which included a salted caramel sorbet, every aspect of our meal was exceptional. You won’t regret visiting this culinary gem.
