Kim Kardashian Brushes Off Taylor Swift’s ‘Thank You Aimee’ Diss Track

Despite Taylor Swift’s recent diss track ‘Thank You Aimee,’ which many believe references Kim Kardashian, the reality star remained unfazed during her appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

Instead of addressing the song, Kardashian discussed her brand’s Ultimate Nipple Bra and her childhood in Madonna’s neighborhood, where she still lives near the singer. She also confirmed that she does indeed sleep with her eyes slightly open, hates the sound and feel of cardboard, blow-dries jewelry before wearing it, and washes her feet before bed.

When Kimmel asked about her relationship with Donald Trump, Kardashian acknowledged that they may not be on good terms but emphasized her appreciation for his work on prison reform. She stated, ‘I don’t think he likes me very much. But I’m ok. I think he did amazing stuff with prisoner reform … so that’s what I’ll focus on.’

Swift’s ‘Thank You Aimee’ is part of her eleventh studio album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’ While it was initially rumored to be about her exes, the lyrics have sparked speculation that it may refer to Kardashian, particularly with its mention of a ‘bronze spray-tanned statue’ and a ‘plaque’ that reads like it’s from a school.

Swift’s feud with Kardashian and Kanye West began in 2009 when West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. In 2016, West released ‘Famous,’ which contained lyrics that Swift claimed she did not approve. Last year, Swift described this period as a ‘bleak’ time in her life, stating that she retreated from public life and experienced trust issues.

Some viewers expressed disappointment that Kimmel did not press Kardashian about the Swift diss track, while others suggested that her public relations team may have advised her not to discuss it.
