Hezbollah Intensifies Rocket Attacks on Israel

Hezbollah’s recent increase in rocket attacks on Israeli targets marks an escalation in the ongoing cross-border conflict between the two sides. The exchange of fire has continued since Hamas’s attack on Israel on October 7th, which triggered the Gaza war. On Tuesday, Hezbollah reported the deaths of two of its members due to Israeli fire, while the Israeli army claimed to have killed ‘significant’ members of Hezbollah’s aerial unit. Additionally, Hezbollah shot down an Israeli drone on Sunday evening. Since the beginning of the conflict on October 7th, at least 378 people have been killed in Lebanon, including 70 civilians and an unknown number of Hezbollah fighters. Israel has reported 11 soldier and eight civilian deaths. The situation remains tense, with both sides exchanging fire across the border.
