The cryptocurrency market witnessed a mixed performance on Tuesday, with Bitcoin (BTC) edging higher and Ethereum (ETH) moving lower. BTC climbed above the $66,000 level, gaining 0.2% to reach $66,162. ETH, in contrast, fell by approximately 0.9% to $3,178, trading below the $3,200 mark.
Among the top gainers over the past 24 hours, Akash Network (AKT) stood out with an impressive 49.6% surge in its price, reaching $6.18. Other notable gainers included Core (CORE) with a 6.4% gain, Arweave (AR) with a 6.2% rise, and Gnosis (GNO) with a similar 6.2% increase. Pepe (PEPE) also joined the ranks of gainers, climbing by 6.1%.
On the other side of the spectrum, Ethena (ENA) emerged as the biggest loser, experiencing a sharp decline of 7.6% to $0.9882. Toncoin (TON) also suffered a significant drop of 6.7%, followed by Wormhole (W) with a 5.6% loss. Beam (BEAM) and THORChain (RUNE) both recorded 5.6% and 5.3% declines, respectively, contributing to the downward trend among cryptocurrencies on Tuesday.
